Interview preparation that finds the gaps before the interviewer does

Interviews test depth, not recall. Aynstyn assesses what you know about the role, then puts you through mock interviews by phone or web that ask follow-up questions, so the hard question arrives in practice first.

Start interview prep

Prepared answers, unprepared follow-ups

Most interview preparation is a list of common questions and polished answers. The interview itself is decided on the follow-up: the “why”, the “what would you do differently”, the detail behind the claim.

That is where gaps show, and where a rehearsed answer runs out.

Why reading answers is not preparation

Recognising a good answer is not the same as giving one under pressure. Until you speak your reasoning out loud, it is hard to know where it breaks.

Generic question lists cannot tell you which part of the role you are weakest on. The interviewer will find it in minutes.

Interview readiness through MAPPT

MAPPT turns interview preparation from rehearsal into diagnosis.

  1. Mindset: Walk in with conviction, built on knowing where you stand rather than hoping.
  2. Analyze: Assess the subjects the role will test, from product sense to system design to the competencies behind your stories.
  3. Prepare: Close the gaps with a course built from your result, or a playbook such as Behavioral Interview Mastery or Salary Negotiation for Job Offers.
  4. Practice: Take mock interviews by phone or in the browser: technical, behavioural or leadership. The interviewer follows up, based on what your assessment found.
  5. Test: Each interview ends with a performance breakdown and the areas to improve, so you know what to fix before the real one.

What you walk in with

  • Your weak spots, named: The topics the role will test that you have not mastered yet.
  • Realistic practice: Spoken mock interviews that probe with follow-up questions.
  • Feedback after every session: A performance breakdown and the areas to improve.
  • Calm on the day: The hard questions already met once, in practice.

Frequently asked questions

How do I prepare for a job interview?

Find out what the role will test, check which of those subjects you can explain in depth, close the gaps, then rehearse out loud. Aynstyn covers each step: an assessment for the gaps, courses and playbooks to close them, and mock interviews to rehearse.

What kinds of mock interviews can I practise?

Technical, behavioural and leadership interviews for professional roles, and interview panels for exams such as UPSC and MBA admissions. Each one is on a subject you choose and can be anchored to your assessment results.

Can I take a mock interview by phone?

Yes. Mock interviews run in the browser or as a phone call to your number, now or at a time you book.

How much does a mock interview cost?

Mock interviews and practice sessions use 6 credits per minute on every plan. The free plan’s 100 credits cover about 16 minutes.
